The people
Who's behind CardBoard
We started CardBoard the way most collections start: buying a few singles off each other, arguing over centering, and never quite agreeing on what counts as near-mint. Somewhere in there we figured other people would rather buy from someone who actually holds the card than a warehouse that doesn't.
We're collectors first. The shop exists because collectors need somewhere honest to sell, and buyers need somewhere honest to buy, in that order. Every listing gets shot by a person, priced by a person, and packed by a person who'd be annoyed if it showed up bent.
Live breaks are coming next, and they'll run the same way: same faces, same honesty, just on camera. Until the room opens, the Facebook group is where we post first.
Our standards
How we do business
How we grade raw
Honest, photographed under real light. If a corner's soft or a surface has a scratch, we say so. No ring lights hiding what a card actually looks like.
How we pack
Penny sleeve, then a Card Saver, then a team bag, then a bubble mailer. That's the minimum, every time. Anything $500 and up goes out boxed, signature required, insured.
When your order leaves
Every order out within 1 business day. We don't sit on packages.
